Why is the Meeting Virtual?
COVID-19 represents a significant and unprecedented international public health challenge. The well-being and safety of our attendees, sponsors and staff is of utmost importance in this rapidly evolving climate. ARM’s leadership and Board of Directors arrived at the difficult decision to host the 2020 conference virtually after consulting with numerous ARM members and gathering information from various health authorities. Ultimately, the nature of our conference – which brings together over 1,200 attendees from around the world – would not be possible in a productive form given the current health crisis. Hosting the meeting virtually is the safest and most inclusive solution, allowing attendees to connect with potential partners globally while avoiding any risk to safety or potential travel restrictions.
